About Us

Trinity Bookkeeping Services LLC was formed in 2015 as a member managed Texas LLC by Dave Guzman.  Trinity will provide bookkeeping services and business and banking consulting for small businesses, the self-employed, and individuals.

Dave has degrees in accounting and business administration and over 30 years of experience in accounting, audit, and finance. Dave’s most recent experience is as a controller for Key Star Capital (www.keystar.com), an investment firm in Stafford, Texas that has purchased in excess of $1 billion in bank assets since its inception.

Prior to joining Key Star, Dave worked for the Houston Firefighters Relief and Retirement Fund as investment accountant and was part of a team that managed the over $4 billion fund.  Before joining the firefighters, Dave worked for a Houston based public accounting firm as a senior financial statement auditor.

Dave graduated Cum Laude in 1998 from the University of Houston – Downtown with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  In 2003, he graduated with Honors from the University of Phoenix receiving his Master’s of Business Administration.

Most recently, Dave was invited to serve on the Board of Directors for True To Life Ministries (TTLM) in Lake Jackson, an organization very near and dear to his heart.  Dave served as an Alderman for the Village of Surfside Beach City Council from 2015-2019, not seeking reelection to serve TTLM.
